Today, my company CDG Sports Events was hired to provide entertainment for a charity fundraiser.
One of the best moments of the event was watching former Pittsburgh Pirates All-Star Pitcher (2013) Jason Grilli spend close to 30 minutes talking with the kids, sharing advice, and answering all their questions.
I'm always impressed with the pros that take the time to recognize and mentor the young players who look up to them. Jason was kind enough to give me a copy of his book "Just My Game".
I've already started reading and recommend it!
